Day 4, Week 1 Matilda

DAY 1
The next day I awoke at 6:13. I read for a while, and eventually got up. We had to let the weaners out. We hopped onto the 4WD and I drove over the grate until it was time for Mym to take over. She drove us over to the yard and opened the door. The weaners followed her out.
We slowly edged our way along the road and the weaners followed us just as slowly. It was kind of boring, but whenever we tried to go faster, the weaners trotted. It's a bad thing if weaners are trotting, so we quickly slowed again.

When we got back to the house, we had to go and put lick out for the cattle. We went to get containers, and on the way there I went in the back of the Ute. On the way back I got to go on the motorbike with Uncle Lolly. I was in control of the throttle (sort of)! (He made us go WAY faster than I wanted.)
I rode in the ute to put the lick out for the cattle.
We got back and started our horse riding. It was my first time out of the yard!
Mym and I got on our horses (mine was called Catalina and hers Comedy) and rode out of the yard. I trotted a few times, which was exciting, and even mustered a few cattle!! :)
When we got back I had lunch and then we went out with Jack to a sausage dinner at Hanging Rock.
After a very bumpy ride to Hanging Rock, we arrived and started exploring. These pictures tell it all.

  2. I'm glad you like them but you really should get up if you're sitting somewhere that smells like 'feline urine'.
